Lush Monsters' Ball Bath Bomb Review
Wednesday, 26 October 2016
I love this little guy! First off how cute is he?! Lush has done well with design of their Halloween product range this year.
The water goes the prettiest combination of purple, pink and blue; when fully mixed in the bath it went a dark purple. I think there was faint bits of glitter due to noticing myself having gold glitter on my skin once I'd come out of the bath.
His main scent is Lime oil and Neroli oil, his eye is made of fair trade organic cocoa butter which melts away when he's in the water. It also has Toning and relaxing Olibanum oil.
If you like fresh scents this is definitely one for you. It made my whole house smell amazing just being sat in the bag. Its a fresh zesty smell and lingers on your skin after you bathe in its goodness.
He's not around for much longer so go out and grab him either in store or here on the Lush website for £4.25; https://uk.lush.com/products/bath-bombs/monsters-ball
Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing
Thursday, 20 October 2016
I was feeling very seasonal so I decided to have a little bake inspired by pumpkin spice. The recipe was from allrecipes http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/8521/pumpkin-cupcakes.aspx
I personally didn't feel like making my own cream cheese icing, so I used Betty Crocker cream cheese icing as they always taste amazing. If you want to make your own icing the link to the recipe shows you how. I also used spider web and orange cases from Tesco. Finding pumpkin in a shop was quite the challenge but I managed to get it in the American section of a Sainsbury's, I've also seen people get it from Waitrose and Tesco but I couldn't find it. I also added a few spooky eye sprinkles I got from TK Max.

What you will need:
280g plain flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
110g butter, softened
200g caster sugar
5 tablespoons brown soft sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
180ml milk
250g pumpkin, cooked and pureed
1. Preheat an oven to 190 C / Gas 5. Grease 24 muffin cups, or line with paper muffin cases. Sift together the flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, allspice, salt, baking powder and bicarb; set aside.
2. Beat 110g of butter, caster sugar and brown sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy. The mixture should be noticeably lighter in colour.
3. Add the room-temperature eggs one at a time, allowing each egg to blend into the butter mixture before adding the next.
4.Stir in the milk and pumpkin puree after the last egg
6. Pour the cupcake mixture into the prepared muffin cases
7.Bake in the preheated oven until golden and the tops spring back when lightly pressed, about 25 minutes. Cool in the tins for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack. Allow cupcakes to fully cool and then decorate however you wish. I lined the nozzle of the piping back with orange colouring to try and create a two toned icing but it didn't turn out as great as expected. You'll have to try out the recipe and show me your creations!
Benefit Cosmetics BIG Sexy Lip Kit Swatches
Thursday, 13 October 2016
First off, I'm obsessed with benefit products. When I saw they were releasing lipsticks I just had to get my hands on them. The kit comes in the cutest little tin with the four shades inside. The concept of the lipsticks is that they come with the lip liner built in. The product is in a tear drop shape with the tip of it being the liner side and the base being the main colour.
The packaging is so cute based on their number one selling mascara They're Real!
They come in four shades; Flame Game, Pink Thrills, Revved-Up Red and Lusty Rose. My personal favourite is Lusty Rose, its the perfect nude lip.
Benefit Cosmetics call these fun sized but with 4 x 0.75 g Net wt. 4 x 0.02 oz of product they are a really good size. Really great pigmentation and super easy to blend, they certainly don't feel like you have anything on your lips and feel cake free. The kit costs £24.50 which seems very reasonable for the four lipsticks. The colours supposedly suit every skin tone so they are definitely worth a shot!

Lush Sparkling Pumpkin Bubble Bar Review
Tuesday, 11 October 2016
I purchased the Lush Cosmetics Sparkling Pumpkin whilst in the Oxford Street branch last so I thought I'd give you my thoughts.
First off its just beautiful and sparkly! Absolutely love the look of this bubble bar. Who could resist something so sparkly.
I broke the pumpkin into quarters to get the maximum amount of baths out of it and was very pleasantly surprised to get so many bubbles and a nice orange colour to the water.
The smell of this bubble bar is also possibly my favourite sent I've smelt of their range. The main ingredients are juniperberry oil, lime oil and grapefruit oil. I thought it smelt very zesty and in my opinion I thought it smelt like sherbet. My skin felt lovely and fresh after using this and a little sparkly. I would definitely repurchase this.
Let me know if you like these kinds of blog post. Definitely going to be posting some of the other products at Christmas.
